Thanks for the information Doc. I plan on being easier on the brakes now 
that i
see that their limits are less than I expected. The last thing I did 
before mounting
them was wipe them off with MEK  --  twice.
I use silicon brake grease from Ford on the pins and a high temp 
synthetic moly
grease on the other sliding surfaces. I keep the pads in a zip lock bag 
until I
drop them in. The pads came with an anti noise "thing" that snaps on the 
back
of the pad. So far they are quieter than the OEM stuff.
