I figured not everyone was going to be in my corner on this subject. I fully
understand that most won't want to retrofit additional brakes on their cars.
A rear disc system like yours is an easy uncomplicated system to run. Yours
works, but not all of them do. Also I don't think the SCTA will be adding
mandatory 4 wheel brakes into the rule book anytime soon, but they should be
adding something.

I still believe that brakes are largely ignored in the construction of a car
and not given proper thinking or safety consideration. The SCTA rule book
devotes three (3) pages to Roll Bars/Cages, Two (2) pages to Fires Systems,
and exactly two (2) full sentences to Brakes. Heck we have more than half a
page dealing with Parachutes. I personally don't think brakes are any less
important to my safety in that car than the fire system.
