Yes, Jim, they are accepted at Bonneville

its best to clean rim well first, with a 
handy solvent,  environmentally friendly
make most sense, something with ammonia
and urea works well(proteins help molecular 
bonds)

now get that bike done, and tear up that
1 liter class!!!!!
