Well, we're thinking seriously of biting the bullet -- and going to
Goliad for the mid-July event. I've looked a little at their website,
but would like some real-world feedback from those of you that have
been there - so we know what to expect.
What's the local equivalent of Laurinburg's Pine Acres Motel -- where
do the racers stay??? Is there race fuel at the track? I didn't
download the entry forms but eventually -- but in the meantime, what's
the registration cost? It's a 1,700 mile trip for us, so do we need to
arrive at the track Friday afternoon or will first-thing Saturday be
good enough? Long lines in Tech inspection? Do we bring sandwiches to
the track or is there a food vendor?
I betcha there are skatey-eight other questions that you'll answer for
me, so I won't bother to ask 'em. Tell all, please.
