 Here in Louisville on the dirty Ohio river, a small plane went into the Ohio 
right at the water company 
pumping station back in the late 70's, the plane and pilot were never found.  a 
seat cushion was all that was 
recovered. many people saw the plane hit the power lines at that location, and 
saw the plane go into
the water, in daylight.  nothing has ever been found after all these years.

on the the B-25 story,  I found 7 more high-res closeup shots of the B-25 
posted on one of the binary 
USENET groups.  there is a LOT of corrosion on the Aluminum  parts, and all 
ferric parts are total rust.
the guns in the upper turret are one mass of  rust,  complete with telescope 
gunsight.
