I have a Kirkey seat in my Corvette, that has supports
at the bottom, but no headrest. It is bolted to the
floor (with a 3/8 metal plate covering the whole
driver side underside), and moved as far back as
possible, affording me the most room possible.
Soooo....given the limited space in the car, the
hardest part of getting "suited up & belted in" is
putting on my helmet. I have to lean as far forward as
possible (still hit the roof) and muscle it on. So,
have you tried suiting up and putting on your helmet
with the new seat?
