Performance Bike magazine in the UK is working with the current UK Outright
Land Speed Record holder (222.19mph) Jarrod 'Jack' Frost to build the "the
Planets's fastest road bike".
The outline details of its 250 mph road-legal motor cycle is that it will
be derived from the GSX1300R Hayabusa with its turbo 1300 motor uprated to
700 bhp. To be road legal it will have to run on road tyres - if they can
survive the speed!.
The Project 250 team from Performance Bike are planning on raising the UK
record first, then"flying the bike to Bonneville to bring a sackful of
records to Great Britain". You US two wheel racers have been warned!

ps the UK speed record is the average speed for two runs, through a 1/4
mile long speed trap, set in the centre of a 2.1 mile airfield runway.
