Seems to me that I timed the Chassis engineering Cummins powered streamliner
at over 290 mph. They had transmission problems and didn't back it up.
Could be interesting to see who does it 1st. The Phoenix is still top dog in
the record book @ 272 mph and exit @ 285.

Diesel Speed Record, you could suggest that Bonneville has a Diesel truck that
might push them over 270mph if they think it will help.
  Also you might take a look at www.landracing.com. with some nice pictures of
the truck. That won't make you subject matter experts but, I mean who is ?
