I use GE electric motorbearing grease and have for years on the front ball 
bearing.  If they won't spin for 3 minutes on their own by hand they are too 
tight...What's a seal? and why would you want to put any extra drag on a 
rotating device?...We don't go 15-30K miles on these. Mine are lucky to see 20 
miles before they are checked again...Good Luck...J.D.
