I am going beserk over compressor trim claims. Doe anyone have a good
working definition that can be applied to compressor wheels? I found
one a day or 2 ago that says compressor trim is defined as (minor
diameter / major diameter)^2 * 100 or (inducer diameter / exducer
diameter) ^2 * 100
I like the simplicity of this and a few I have tested seem to work, but
there are a zillion that do not fit this category of definition. Does
anyone have a better definition?
