Not only do you NOT need it, it will increase drag.
Air does not like to be messed with. At all. In any way.
It takes horsepower to make it move in ANY direction.
Totally ignore any airplane that can go over 500 MPH
when you are looking for ideas.

Check out the Goldenrod. You can get a full report on it's aerodynamics
from the SAE for about $20.00.
