The way I see it is, when I lost something when I was 18B IB knewB I had years
to find it. At 76 I have about a couple of weeks left to find it,B the time is
the same, it is just more urgent the older you get!

They're making a parallel World to ours, hence the need to make a copy of
everything we have.
When they take an item, don't bother searching. When they're done, it'll be
returned, exactly as you've all found.
Occasionally a favorite expletive to them speeds the copy process.
