Hi Mates

...
Is a T-Series "just right" near the top of the scale, or should the car run
somewhere in the middle of the scale?

I always wondered about this.

Hi John,
I have a supercharged TF 1250 which always runs at the upper end of the
scale, somewhere in the 95 - 100 range and, on a hot day going up a hill, it
will get up to 110 or higher. And, it is not unusual for the temp gauge to
go higher once you shut the car off as the fan is no longer pulling air
through the radiator and the water pump in no longer circulating the water.
It has never boiled over though and I've been told the higher the temp,
short of boiling over, the more efficient the engine is working. Don't know
if that is true or not, but so far so good.
