Different Heater Hookup

I understand that a T heater can be connected differently than the two hoses 
coming from the bypass as given in the Moss writeup. One hose comes from a 
modified plate on the back of the head that has an oulet added and the other 
comes from I do not know where. Perhaps a different fitting on the bypass. Any 
comments?
