Hello all,

Thanks for the quick responses. Everybody suggested it is a Warner
T-50. With that in mind, I stopped at the local library this afternoon and
a look at several shop manuals confirmed it. These were apparently used in
the Astre, Cutlass, Vega, Monza, Sunbird......etc from 1976 to? Still
don't know which particular application this one may be from or anything
about gear ratios or other details. Can anyone help me out with any of
these details? Also the obvious question as to it's suitability to use
behind a BOP/Rover V8 of 241 to 296 CI.

Sometime back there was a flurry of discussion of different
transmissions and among those mentioned was a T-56. I never did figure out
what that is. Can anybody give me a basic primer on that box as well?

Cheers,
David Kernberger
