Subject: Cooling fans

Hello all,

Can the original twin cooling fans be lubricated and if so how?

Secondly, is there a better method of cooling via a different fan etc. that
any of you have used with success? I have no idea at this time what the CFM
might be with the original twin MGB fans and am not sure what the minimum
should or could be. I have seen aftermarket types anywhere between rough
figures of 1800 and 2900 CFM. I can not get a fan on the engine at this
point, even though the engine is as far back as it can probably go because
the water pump currently on the engine is just too long in depth. That
obviously does not allow any type of puller fan on the engine side of the
radiator either.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Matt
