re: Throw-Out Bearing

       Maybe I'm revealing my age here, but I soaked my MGBs throwout bearing 
       for a couple of weeks in a can of engine oil, has lasted a few years 
       now, > 10,000 miles. Now, if one sits at a stop light with their foot 
       on the clutch, that will markedly decrease the life of the throwout 
       bearing.
