I've got a spare front susupension I'm planning to rebuild and install in my
'79 MGB. I'd like to mildly upgrade the suspension without making the car
too uncomfortable for the average passenger.
At this point I'm planning on V8 bushings, stiffer shock valving, and stiffer
bushings for the sway bar, shock to trunnion, and suspension mounting pads. I
really haven't thought much about the rear, except for using stiffer bushings
and shocks.
If you've done these kinds of mods, I'd appreciate any pointers you can give.
If you've done something that turned out to be a disaster, I'd also be
interested in your experience.
I'd basically like to do some upgrading, but I don't want to spend big $
chasing that last 10% of performance.
