Well, I don't know enough about appraising to guess at the car's value, but
I can tell you that doing the interior can vary immensely in cost, depending
on what you want to do.  It sounds to me like you basically need new
everything...Victoria British offers a complete interior kit (carpet, door
panels, seat covers, and a few other do-dads) for about $1200.  Moss also
offers one, and many say it's better, but I haven't seen one.  Then again,
if you want to go the bargain route, you can cut up your own carpet, and
re-upholster the door panels yourself, and save a whole lot of money.
Personally, I'd rather chock down the change and know it's right than have
the hassle of messing with carpet! <g>
