Pointless as all it will do is automatically frire a message back at you.
YOu just flamed a machine....

Dan has set his mail to auto-reply to say that he is out of the office, he
should have unsubscribed from the list first.

What is happening is this :-

The list sends Dan a message
His mail server replies back to the list
The list sends out his reply, including a message back to him
His mailer sends back a reply to this as well
..and so the loop begins

All I can suggest is that those of you who are on direct internet
connections, set a filter to automatically trash his messages, those on
dial-up connections, unsubscribe until next week.

And if the list manager is around anywhere, please unsub Dan till next week
