You are certainly having a struggle with this thing, Steve.  Who did you
get the fitting from?  If it was a 'regular' American supplier, they
undoubtedly sold you a fitting with an American thread on it.  As I said
in a previous note, get Moss to send you one from the catalogue. I've
even looked up the number of the part for you.  It is #328-550 on page
11 of the TD parts catalogue, Edition MGT-20. You can phone them, toll
free at 1 800 235 6954.  It is referred to as a greaser, although I
always thought that a greaser was the person who put the grease in. ( I
prefer the good old English word, NIPPLE).If that doesn't fit, then you
have a problem with the thread on the shaft.  Write again if that is the
case.
