Attaboy Barney, I was just about to chime in with a similar calculation.

Now, more to the point, how big is the wire leading TO your lighter, 
folks?  Just picture yourselves trying to stay warm by huddling close to 
a hot cigarette lighter and you will know exactly how much heat you 
could expect from a device that plugs into one.
