Joe, I was under the understanding that the purpose of the 2000 rpm for 20
minutes was to properly bed your new cam but I suppose other areas need
some bedding in too. The pullling of the vehicle at a speed to maintain
2000 rpm could be a feat in itself! I believe I would go with an attempt
to have the engine run normally. Good luck!
