I'm right there with you! The BPO of my '74 B undercoated the car when
new and there's still no rust 23 years on. He also kept every receipt,
and, judging from the condition of the mechanicals, was meticulous about
maintenance. The only thing I was missing was the tonneau bars and bag,
but I was able to pick them up at a swap meet for $15 a few years back.
He didn't fiddle with the wiring, and, though he removed the emmissions
equiptment, he kept it together in a box just in case. The man is a
saint.
