Ok, I saw Kai's response...hehe
Maybe I can help. Do you have specific questions? Its really not that =
tough once you get into it. Once you get on the MIRC homepage you should =
be able to follow the directions like any kind of software download.
If you haven't been on IRC, its really pretty cool. Don't listen to the =
naysayers out there, they're just clinging to the past...;)
BTW, I haven't even looked at Kai's instructions, cuz I'm already =
familiar with IRC. If you really need it in laymen's terms, I'm sure =
willing to try.
Its only a daunting prospect once! I just hope I'm not contributing to =
the existence of another "IRC Junkie" out there!

Thanks Chris, I thought it was just me that is an idiot (well, i am, but
it helps not to be alone!) - Kai put the instructions on his site the
other day
and i checked it out but it is so complex i bookmarked it and vowed to
read it ......later
most of the other posts on this left me dumb as a box of rocks -=20
its sort of like being invited to a party buy you dont know the address =
-

Anyone feel like trying to explain it in words of
one syllable? - i would like to give it a try but at present its more
likely
I'll do a V8 conversion before Christmas than find my way to the
"virtual bar"

yours in idiocy
