I recently purchased rebuilt 1800 MGB engine from area British Car Repair
Shop. When I was loading the engine I notice number plate was missing.
The owner of the shop said sometimes number plate melts when engine is
sent out for cleaning!? I don't know if right or wrong! I need to order
some parts and now question what engine it is since different numbers
have different parts. Owner said all parts are interchangable but now I
am confused!!
Need to replace fromt engine plate to use late model engine mounts and
don't know what gaskets to buy.
