DeLorean was very much an American company, despite the fact that the car=
was
produced in Belfast, using mostly European parts.
The car used Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo parts, (PRV engine) as well as=
Lucas
electronics.
It's also said that the body molds for the car were sunk in the atlantic by
the
British Govornment, due to the fact that JZD was so "popular" with them.
