Gary,

Ditto on DM's comment. I'm doing 150 mile round trips (highway) to my office
3-4X week. It's not unusual to be cruising at 80mph. No problem - no OD
either.

Having fun,

Dr. Doug

Gary,

FWIW, I drove my '74 MGBGT from Alcoa, Tennessee to St. Louis, MO a few years
ago, and a year or so later, drove it from TN to Canada. Both trips were made
on the interstates, and the normal speed both times was 80 MPH. I had no
complaints, and, as near as I can tell, neither did the car.
