I've been using it for years. I tried Penrite's lever arm shock oil #2 but
it wasn't
stiff enough so I went back to 30wt or 40wt fork oil (road and race
respectively).

No complaints and possibly better fade resistance (it seems so but I don't
have objective measurements)
