Ross,

Couple of question on the Petronix Ignitor install.

- When you install it, do you need the engine at Top-Center? If so, what's
the best way to do that on a B. I've heard methods from
-- putting the engine in neutral and using a socket/breaker bar combo
-- Turning the engine over w/ the coil disconnected
-- putting it in 3rd/4th and pushing it backwards (real strong
transmission heh)

Also, what is the best indicator that it is actually a top-center -
position of the rotor?

- Are there any tricks to the actual install -- i.e., just pull the points
and condenser, then slip the ignitor in?

>From the pictures, it looks like the Crane would be more complicated to
install. But, with the external control unit, appears it would be better
able to keep itself adjusted. The ignitor looks like it is strictly manual
adjustment.

Are you also running a hotter coil?

Nick
