Why?? The recommendations I've seen all say to keep the car on the ground for
short term storage (e.g., winter storage). Besides, I'd worry more about
having one of the rebound straps give way while continuously supporting the
weight of the suspension (which is not their intended purpose).

I have recently put my 65 MGB away for winter storage. I was thinking about
jacking the car up off the floor and letting the suspension hang for the 6
months. ( oct. to april). My question, how will this affect the lever
shocks, or will it?
