I don't know if using prep sol in advance would have any
real benefit. (Side issue: I use klene-sol in it's place)
Proper degreasing and de-siliconing is something that I do
before every coat of paint, IMMEDIATELY before. If the car
is going to be trailed to the garage, it's going to become
contaminated again anyways.
Won't do any damage, but this stuff is $40 a gallon so I
would use it only when it can really be effective.
(incidently, that stuff can cause flash fires if it
contacts fiberglass, consider that if you have any fiberglass
panels or if you used an resins in your bodywork)
