So a badly corroded contact to the Temp sender would cause the same
effect for the temperature gause?

I've been thinking that it was my gauge at fault for low readings after
I replaced the sender and it still read low. After seeing this I got to
thinking that I never cleaned the contact on the wire when I rplaced the
sending unit... I'll have to remedy that when I get home!
