Pat,
I don't know about the new ones (Festiva?), but I think the Fiesta had a
four cylinder engine, they were pretty agile little cars, and those, I
believe, were in fact made in Germany, or at least were designed by Ford of
Germany. And the new ones, well, if your '79 B is stock U.S. spec, the new
Festiva, three cylinder and all, probably has a better power-to-weight
ratio, sorry to say.
