The only car I ever purchased new was a '78 Fiesta. Handled very well,
great mileage, lousy body which finally sort of disappeared at 180000
miles. They were made in Germany and there isn't one left on the road
with a functioning  parking brake.

btw-  it really did have a 4 cyl in it . . . .
