Dave,
  You might try dragging a magnet all around the garage. I use one that's
about five pounds in weight/size, since it picks up tiny things that fall
into the kitty litter under the engine.  There are also magnets that look
like radio antennas, that are small enough to poke into a spark plug
hole.
