        I hope you have a reason besides performance for wanting to run the
45DCOE side draft on your late car.  The short branch manifold required to
clear the power booster is very inefficient at normal rev ranges.  Anything
is an improvement over the stock Zenith Stromberg, but the twin SU or even
DGAV downdraught are going to be much more drivable.
        If you do decide to go with the DCOE you may consider using small
33mm chokes to improve the bottom end, at the expense of maximum power.
This worked well on my daily driver, where top end power was not as
important as mileage and drivability.

couple of years.
