These pumps have been on these cars for 20 - 30 years.. A hell of a service
life. If rebuilt properly you should get many more years of service. I have
had great sucess rebuilding them.

I can see this logic.. But I have been able to rebuild generators, starters,
fuel pumps, etc.. etc with great sucess. And have gotten many more years of
service out of them. I think the key word Jason used is "know what your
doing". One of the things I love about lbc's is that they where designed to be
rebuilt. I beleve sometimes a rebuilt part can be better than new.. If you
take your time and pay a lot attention to detail.
