In the days before it wasn't politically incorrect, I always used freon to
shring the offending part. I've found that dry ice, although less
convienient, works just about as well. Put a small chunk of dry ice on the
shaft and let it freeze it (not too long or you'll just freeze both parts
and negate your work). I'll bet the wheel pops right off.

lets really get everyone's thoughts on this, I can't get mine off
either.  I have tired a puller, but it just tears up the rubber and the
wheel does not budge.  I have tapped, pulled at 10 and 2, ane even had
my so pull at opposite ends.  Haven' tried the kettle yet- sounds
messy.  why water?  would some other heat source help?

all suggestions welcome!!!
