I've had my Saab 9000 since 1991.  It replaced a 1984 Saab 900 Turbo.  I
owned both since new and neither car has had any major maintenance
problems.  Maybe I'm just lucky, but they sure have been reliable for me. 
They are also fun to drive (for front wheel drive sedans, that is!!)
