A sent Jon an e-mail, probably should have cc'ed the list. Silicone
spray lubricant, the really expensive stuff (7 to 13 bucks a can), does
*miracles* when sprayed on window-channels. I literally wouldn't have
believed in advance how much difference it made the first time I tried
it. I re-apply about every six months to a year. The original can still
feels about half full almost a deacde later. I highly recommend it.
