So, under the new "nationalisation' of the road rules here, I gather
this would not just be for New South Wales? Not that it would be
unheard of, but maybe it would be a little strange that they would bring
this in, in NSW only, just when they are trying to make the road rules
uniform across all States and territories.
Come to think of it... you have always been allowed to drive a left-hand
drive vehicle in WA... but you had to have a dirty great yellow sign
that said CAUTION: LEFT HAND DRIVE. I think it is similar in South
Australia.
Can you check out whther there is any "dirty great yellow sign"
requirement?
