The easiest first test to know if the thermostat is opening is to feel the top radiator hose. Water dosent circulate through it until the therm. opens. Check your radiator carefully. Overheating increases system pressure, this will often cause a rar. weakened from corrosion to give up. I had to replace one last Fall. George '76 MGB driver |
