Thanks!  I have the ProperMG catalog and have ordered from them B4.  You are 
correct as above.  I have contemplated a couple 100$ for the specific job and 
my experience is that there is always some extra stuff to repair, replace, 
screw up, or tweak once the wrenches turn.  

That way if I get out for less, I  have $ left over to buy an MG buddy lunch 
and get roses for my wife (who does not share my enthusiasm for MG or any 
stright shift car without air conditioning or power windows.)
