Now you know why there are a lot of jumpered hazard switches.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about completely dead
turn signals on my 72 B last week. I finally got around to tracking it
down last night and the answer is: flasher. The flasher wasn't feeding
any power through - cooked wire inside it. A new one fixed me right
up. I never realized the flasher was on the power side of the turn
signal switch and I've never had one fail like that. Usually they just
get slower and slower and eventually won't flash at all.

The most popular response was that the hazard switch wasn't feeding
through to the turn signals. Previous owner had already jumpered the
connection on it. What really shocked me was the price of a new hazard
switch. Something like $57!!

Thanks again,
