OK let's see.  I think you will need a helper.

Jack under differential to get both rear wheels off the ground.  Block
front wheels.  In gear (not reverse!) but depress clutch.  Start the
car.

When rear wheels are turning real good, drop the jack abruptly.

Throughout this exercise the clutch pedal is fully depresssed.  Be ready
to cut ignition if car lurches forward.  Alternatively, you can run car
up to some immovable object prior to jacking.  I prefer the blocks. 

Good luck and, uh, you may want to use old rear tires for this.

I recently purchased a rusty 79 B. I was able to get it running and it
does run great. I cannot get the clutch to engage/disengage however and
suspect the disc has mated itself to the flywheel. I have bled the
clutch and there is considerable clutch pedal pressure so I am certain
the pressure plate is operational. I recall several "quick" cures for
freeing the disc from the flywheel short of pulling the engine. Would
appreciate any advice. Thanks. Next time I'll pay more attention.
