Steve, somewhere in So. CA. is a good MG mechanic, I don't know where but
someone on this list will
(So. CA. is a big place, maybe you ought to name the city the car is in).
Since this is your first
MGB experience I would HIGHLY recommend you have someone, other than the
seller, with MG knowledge
look at it. Look especially hard for evidence of rust, I get suspicious of new
paint jobs. If your
mechanic finds minimal issues it sounds like a good price, however the seller
probably expects you
to offer less...
