Gee, sounds pretty good to me. Just adding up the "new" stuff comes to
over $4000, assuming it was done right. It may seem like looking a gift
horse in the mouth, but for peace of mind, you might try to ascertain if
the new paint is hiding any rust outbreaks or body filler (a magnet can
be useful), and what was entailed in the engine "rebuild" (definitions
differ). But, assuming it checks out, I would think you would have no
problem turning it over again for that price, especially if you waited
for spring. IMHO...
