Not living by the river anymore, I don't have to scrape ice off the car
windows much anymore. But the last two mornings, I had to scrape ice off
the BGT only to see the ice quickly reform before my heater started to kick
in.

So this morning, the question came to me. What is the best way to scrape
ice off a plastic rag top window? My son's 65B should be road worthy in the
next one to two weeks, and I need to instruct him on keeping a clear view.
Plus avoid my youthful mistakes - during my college days during those
frosty days in Nebraska, I used to use my ice scraper to clear the back
window. That was bad enough because it scratches the plastic. But one day
when I was scraping off the ice, I was distracted by my girl friend's very
attractive best friend and started scraping a little to hard and my hand
went right through the window. Not only was that embarrassing but I ended
up having to use duct tape to seal the hole.

So any of you have some nifty tips on how you remove ice from the back
window of your roadsters?
