Hi Ho All,
Been a while since I spoke up here on the list but it's almost events time
again in the N.E. USA and plans are being made. I was down in Atlantic City
yesterday for a visit to the Annual Classic Auto Auction at the Convention
Centre. Saw many familiar faces and got to chat with some folks as well. Slim
pick'ns in the way of British on the floor. All I saw was 1 TD, 1 MGA, 2 Healey
3000s, 1 100-4 and a Triumph GT6. Oh yeah there was another hand full of
Bentley, Rolls and Jaguars but the majority of the floor was made up of 60's
and 70's American big block stuff. Alot of memories stirred up seeing an early
Cougar, a 63 Monterey and Galaxie Convertible, all of which I have owned.
Next stop Norristown, PA for the 3/18 swap meet. I have a couple of pairs of
Fiero seats w/ speakered headrests (need to be recovered) that I could bring
along if anyone is interested.
I spent some time updating the Eastern USA Events Page this afternoon. It can
be found at http://www.mgcars.org.uk/clubs/deutsch.html and the updated version
should be available by mid-day Monday. Looking like around 30 events on the
list all ready.
